Why buy this home?
The "Canterbury" is a very sought after family home set over two floors. Built by Bovis this aesthetically pleasing property has everything a family could want. As you walk into this very welcoming entrance hall you immediately feel like you're at home. The floor is laid with LVT flooring which is stylish yet practical, giving a light and modern feel and are easy to clean.
To the left is the living room which is a great size and also gives you an impressive view out of the bay window onto the green in front of the house. Double doors lead to the kitchen/breakfast room. This room is the real heart of this home and stretches across the entire rear of the house. It's easily big enough for a proper dining table and can even fit an additional seating area. Integrated appliances include a dishwasher and fridge/freezer along with a 5-ring gas hob and eye-level double oven. The owners chose a traditional shaker style kitchen to create a homely feel as opposite to modern high gloss which you find in most new homes.
The garden is surprisingly private with few windows overlooking. For a newer home it is an impressive size with a patio area at the back and the rest laid to lawn. There is a bonus storage area behind the double garage and to the side of the house.
To the right of the entrance hall you have the all-important home office which could also be used as a children's play room. To complete the downstairs, you have a very spacious WC/utility room which means you can do your washing and still entertain in the kitchen without the ambiance being ruined.
The first floor is home to four double bedrooms. The master bedroom is at the front of the house and, again, has views over the greenery in front. The bay window is a lovely feature in this room and provides space for a reading chair or dressing table . It also has a built-in double wardrobe and ensuite with a double shower cubicle. Next to the master bedroom is the second bedroom which is a very comfortable size. This is close enough to be used for the youngest member of the family. The third and fourth bedrooms are also great size doubles again, which greats a wonderful family space rather than squeezing in a fifth bedroom. The family bathroom has a deep bath with taps to the side which will music to the ears of bath lovers.
Parking is provided by a detached double garage with a driveway for four cars.
